Asiah Moore

Asiah Moore is from Chester, Virginia. She began dancing at the age of 2 and trained at many local studios. She is currently receiving her BFA in Dance from George Mason University where she has performed works by Christina Robson and Shaun Boyle D’Arcy. Asiah has also had the opportunity to perform repertory by Andrea Miller, Victor Quijadea, Yin Yue, Martha Graham, and Kyle Abraham. Outside of her university dance experiences, she has attended intensive dance programs such as Chicago’s Hubbard Street Dance and Springboard Danse. As an artist Asiah’s goal is to be part of and to help create spaces where artists feel a sense of connection to one another through one of the most honest forms of artistic expression, movement. Asiah is motivated by human experiences and emotions, which lie at the center of the work she creates and engages with.
